This month's Classic Cruiser is from Steve Nestle. He e-mailed us pictures of he and his wife's '55 Ford F-100. The couple purchased the truck while living in Southern California and moved it back East when they relocated to Pennsylvania over five years ago. Steve says he has plans for a full restoration in the coming years, but they've been having quite the time in the truck with its casual suede paint job and hand-painted Flying A logos-a tribute to the service station Steve's father-in-law owned back in the late 1950s. The '55 is currently Steve's daily driver except on overly snowy or frigid Northeastern winter days. The Effie still has its original engine and is almost entirely stock, except for a 12-volt conversion, a 9-inch rearend, and teardrop taillights. Looks good to us Steve, just don't have too much fun!
